Description:
This is a 10-hour safety training course that satisfies the newly established law requiring all workers on prevailing rate jobs over $250,000.00 to have this class as mandated minimum training. The new law took effect July 18, 2008. It will provide the 10 hours of required training which includes an introduction to OSHA's health and safety standards for the construction industry. The program is tailored to first-line supervisors, foreman, and workers responsible for and involved in construction field operations. Participants will be instructed on the basics of understanding, interpreting, and knowing how to use OSHA Construction Standards

& February 21, 2012 7:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M.
Cost: Instruction is free of charge, made possible by a grant from The NYS DOL Occupational Safety & Health Training & Education Program . However, there is a $12.00 per person charge for snacks and beverages. The cost also includes a five dollar OSHA card fee.
